we'll behaving the AGM shortly Scrup, will advise on the date soon, but the bottom line is the club has very little money in the kitty as we were unable to make as much money with all that rain we had last year.

as most of you know last year nets were only £3 a session as the club was had the money there we are able to book and pay for the sessions in advance. many of the sessions were by the club last year as many would forget to pay or didnt even bother paying at all. this meant the club was not having all the money from sessions last year and fees for neys ended up being subbed by the club. this will mean prices go up and as there is no club subbing each person training will have to pay the full amount divided by however is there or they will not be able to train. that also means they will have tobe booked on a week to week basis rather than a block booking, we need to discus this at the meeting. dont know how i am going to manage to sort sessions for the kids either. we are roughly £340 short of being able to get us on the field next year and thats with out the kids league and training!! i hope people now understand the importance of paying membership and teas

I only asked !!!

Will have to think up a fund-raiser, don't know what though. I will take care of collecting the money at nets if you want, I can be quite persuasive.

i'm sorry scrump if i sounded nasty  , i didnt mean it to sound like that it the weather that has killed it for this year  , i'm working on it though!!i'm trying really hard to get some money in for training, although i do think our guys should be covering training costs them selves although, i could be wrong!! how do other clubs work? any way YES PLEASE!! if you could collect the money, sadly some people find me, my old man and nik a little soft when it comes to collecting the money in

it wont be long i dont think before we get the £1000 needed for the start of the season as there is the sponsors to come in yet membership and the GMB money so well make that no problem!! its just the kids fees and training costs!

let me know if you have a fund raising idea! or anyone else for that matter!! any one fancy being on the fund raising committee :?:

I agree that training should be self-funding with maybe those out of work or with serious financial problems being helped out. I find a sawn-off 12 bore to be very persuasive  That or a cricket stump with a 6 inch nail through it (rusty of course). When are we looking to start?
